Terms of Service — outage.me
Operator: Smart Signals LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Effective: 27 September 2026. By using outage.me, app.outage.me, the API or the MCP server (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.
- What the Service is. outage.me gathers status information that providers publish themselves, plus public vulnerability data (CISA KEV, FIRST EPSS, NIST NVD). It shows what those sources say. It is not an official status page for any provider, and we have no affiliation with the providers listed.
- No warranty. Information may be late, incomplete or wrong, including when a source is wrong or unreachable. The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of availability. Don't make safety-critical or financial decisions based only on it.
- AI answers. The Ask feature and the
answertool use a language model, which can be wrong. Check the sources it cites. The data tools (list_active_incidents,provider_reliability,exploited_vulnerabilities) return facts from our data, with no AI model involved. - Acceptable use. Don't abuse the Service, get around rate limits or quotas, scrape the provider status pages we collect from (use our API instead), or use the Service to plan or carry out attacks. Security information is here for defense.
- API and MCP. The data endpoints are free to use. Please credit outage.me with a link; see /ai.txt. API keys, and the apps you connect through sign-in, act for your organization and share its daily limit. We may revoke a key or a connection if it's misused.
- Accounts and Pro. You're responsible for keeping your account and API keys secure. Pro prices are in USD. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be published here before any charge is made.
- Content. Provider notices are quoted as the providers wrote them and remain theirs. Logos are the providers' own favicons, used only to identify them.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, Smart Signals LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
- Changes. We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here.
